1. Accelerated Precast Construction (APC) (1-2 hours)

What does it mean to your community when a roadway or bridge undergoes improvements? Does it impact the mobility of commuters? Does it present a safety risk to the construction workers and commuters? Accelerated Precast Construction, a trademark of ACPA, targets these tough issues. APC incorporates innovative planning, design, materials and construction methods to reduce construction time and costs, while improving safety, durability and quality.

2. Precast Box Culvert Design/Installation (1-2 hours)

Empower your staff with a product that creates opportunity and enhances creativity. This class highlights the proper technique for installing precast box culverts, while increasing your awareness of common innovations. Provide your drainage crews with a valuable skill while saving your community money. Provide your engineers with competitive options for design and value engineering.

3. 3 Sided Rigid Frames (1-2 hours)

Precast 3 Sided Rigid Frames provide you a tool that accelerates construction, protects the environment and reduces road user impact costs. They provide engineers another option for addressing increased flow capacity requirements, reduced maintenance expectations and addressing environmental concerns. This innovated precast bridge replacement option is available in spans up to 50 feet, with rises up to 12 feet.

4. Jacking Pipe (1-2 hours)

A growing segment of pipe installation includes trenchless applications. They are less disruptive to traffic, communities, utilities and businesses. Trenchless installation saves time, saves money and improves roadway safety. It is important to know this competitive option. As our nation’s infrastructure approaches its service life, the jacking pipe procedure is a beneficial option worth knowing.

5. Post Installation (1-3 hours)

Does referencing DOT installation standards for pipes under your roadways, increase the value of your infrastructure? ACPA has documented the installation of flexible and rigid culverts at the city, county and state levels. Empower your inspectors with this knowledge. Empower your culvert installation crews with proper installation practices while decreasing maintenance costs.

6. Post Installation Inspection (1-2 hours)

It’s in the owner’s best interest to know that all pipes in their system have been properly installed and were not damaged such that the pipe system is not compromised. Post Installation Inspection (PII) provides the owner the information needed to determine whether proper installation occurred prior to project close-out or final acceptance.
